The use of Heliant information system not only facilitated the management of medical records and health documentation, but also had a significant impact on the improvement of the quality and speed of healthcare services provision and the improvement of the working conditions of medical staff, PC Press writes.
In its March edition, the most renowned domestic IT magazine, PC Press, writes that the health information system Heliant is “the most widespread solution in the Serbian healthcare system.”
“Over the course of more than 20 years, Heliant has gradually developed, so that today it enables the digitization of all interactions between the patient and the healthcare facility, between healthcare professionals and between the facility and the Ministry of Health, SHIF and all other factors in the Serbian healthcare system,” points the PC Press article under the title“Heliant: Information System in the Service of Health”.
The quality of this solution, developed by the company “Heliant”, as PC Press points out, is also reflected by its increasing presence in clinical centres, hospitals, healthcare centres, facilities and institutes, as well as by the long-term experience of healthcare professionals using this software.
“Not only that the use of the Heliant information system facilitated the management of medical records and health documentation, but it also significantly influenced the improvement of the quality and speed of healthcare services provision and the improvement of the working conditions of the medical staff,” quotes the article, which emphasizes that behind this system there is a team that monitors the needs of medical staff and continuously works on improvement.
In addition, the Heliant information system has been successfully integrated with the Moneo financial system, and, as explained by PC Press, inventory management and management of all business and administrative processes has been digitized, synchronized and thus greatly facilitated.
At the same time, Heliant is integrated with the Infolab laboratory information system and the radiological information system, as well as with the services of the Ministry of Health, the Serbian Health Insurance Fund and the Institute for Public Health of Serbia “Dr. Milan Jovanović Batut”.
Beside the fact that this software is used in state healthcare facilities, including the University Clinical Centre of Serbia, University Medical Centre Niš, University Medical Centre Kragujevac, numerous hospitals, more than 100 health centres, PC Press writes that since 2015 Heliant has entered the private sector and is used by the big three private healthcare providers, Euromedik, Acibadem Bel Medic and MediGroup, as well as more than 100 medium-size and small size facilities in Serbia and the region.
PC Press also quotes a comment of Filip Maljković, Head of Development at the company “Heliant”, who says that the success of the information system was greatly contributed by its adaptability.
“Actually, we all know that our healthcare system is complicated. That complexity comes to the fore even more when you try to place all processes in the healthcare system, at all levels of healthcare, in one piece of software. That’s how Heliant was born,” says Maljković in the article, which, in addition to the printed edition, is also available on the PC Press web portal.
