The “Heliant” company representatives, Vukašin Radulović and Nemanja Gružanić , participated in an online event held at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade on May 28, 2022.
At the event that was attended by other IT companies’ representatives as well, they presented the “Heliant” company’s work, professional internships, as well as various opportunities for training and cooperation with students and faculty teaching staff.
This event is regarded as a continuation of a successful cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics, which was initiated in March this year, when Anđelka Zečević and doc. dr Jovana Kovačević delivered a lecture on machine learning on the premises of the company “Heliant”.

In April, the head of the development team of the company “Heliant”, Filip Maljković, spoke to the students of the Faculty of Mathematics within the subject “Database Programming”, taught by PhD Nina Radojičić Matić.
Faculty of Mathematics
It was officially founded in 1995 by separating from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Belgrade and is the leading accredited faculty in Serbia in the field of mathematics, astronomy and information systems and technologies.
More than 7,500 students graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, more than 1,000 completed master’s studies and more than 500 received their doctoral degrees.
To date, ten members of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts have been elected from among the lecturers at this faculty.
Every year, about 300 students enrol in computer science and computer science study programs, while about 30 students enrol in master’s study programs.
