Heliant is once again participating in the Serbian Chamber of Healthcare Facilities (KZUS) Conference, taking place from May 27 to 29 on Zlatibor. This annual event brings together representatives of healthcare facilities, industry experts, and companies from the healthcare and information technology sectors to exchange knowledge and discuss current challenges and future directions in healthcare.
The first day of the conference opened with introductory remarks and sessions focused on current developments in Serbia’s healthcare system, healthcare financing, and improving the quality of healthcare services. Participants had the opportunity to hear presentations from representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Serbian Health Insurance Fund (RFZO), and other relevant institutions, with a strong emphasis on the digitalization and modernization of the healthcare system.
Heliant Director, Vukašin Radulović, took part in the panel discussion “The Digital Code of Healthcare – the benefits of e-health record (EHR)”, moderated by Dragana Šutović Ilić from NALED. Alongside Radulović, the panel featured Nikola Radoman from the Ministry of Health and Bojan Kisić from Nites. The discussion focused on the role of electronic health records in improving the quality of healthcare, enhancing the efficiency of healthcare facilities, and increasing the accessibility of health data.

Particular attention was given to the benefits that electronic health records brought to both healthcare professionals and patients, as well as the challenges of implementation and the continued development of digital healthcare services. Panellists highlighted the importance of reliable and interoperable information systems, faster access to relevant data, and improved coordination across the healthcare system.
By participating in this panel, Heliant once again reaffirmed its commitment to developing modern digital solutions for the healthcare sector and to playing an active role in the digital transformation of healthcare in Serbia. As a long-standing partner of healthcare facilities across the country, the company continues to enhance information systems that contribute to more efficient operations, better process management, and higher-quality patient care.
The KZUS Conference is one of the most important professional healthcare events in Serbia. This year’s program features a wide range of panel discussions, presentations, and workshops dedicated to digitalization, healthcare facility management, and the continuous improvement of healthcare services.
