“At the beginning, we used Heliant financial software Moneo for about two years, but we planned from the start to set up healthcare software that would include everything that we do in the hospital. Thus we had the entire Heliant Information System implemented, which really covered everything we were engaged in,”says Slobodan Prodanović MD, a sports medicine specialist, director of the Special Rehabilitation Hospital in Bukovica Spa in Aranđelovac.
In the meantime, Heliant information system was expanded to the laboratory last year, where INFOLAB LIS was implemented.“We can create laboratory referrals and complete reports with Heliant now”, says MD Prodanović.

Savings
“Already at that stage”, says MD Prodanović, Heliant allowed us to significantly reduce the administration work – it is now performed by those who are direct service providers to citizens. We paid the software out of these savings, and the remaining portion of the money that used to be spent on administration work is now used for improving the hospital operations.“.
We are a healthcare facility that does not have any debts, we make profits each year and partly it has to do with the implementation of Heliant software, from Moneo to those covering the complete hospital operations.

We are testing and making the final preparations to start something that no one else does in Serbia in this way on 1st of October – together we have adapted Heliant to our needs for scheduling and planning treatment administration timing.
We make the examination schedule by using Heliant, and in this way, patients arrive on time for their examinations.
We work from 7 am to 8 pm, we have an outpatient clinic for the citizens of Aranđelovac, Topola and the surrounding places, which practically functions as a primary healthcare facility within our company. People from this region are very much oriented to our facility for these types of healthcare services.
At the same time, we also have inpatient facility patients and we need to “fit them in” certain times so that our available devices could provide the service in the most possible economical way.
Patients undergo all treatments without interruption
People are often prescribed several treatments, but on the other hand, our devices cannot serve lots of patients at the same time. Heliant software solutions have enabled us to ensure that every patient undergoes all his/her treatments without interruption. And when they need to undergo three or four treatments, these software solutions find the right time for completing the treatment and ensuring continuity.
Therefore: a person comes, undergoes all treatment procedures one after another without interruption and within the shortest possible time, and leaves.
We introduced this practice first – we already tested all this in September and as of October we will start with the implementation of this software that will greatly increase our efficiency and help people complete all examinations and treatments as fast as possible.
