Fuelled by positive energy and team spirit, Heliant runners once again proved their persistence and readiness to turn every track into a stage for great fun.
This time, Niš hosted the Serbia Business Run spectacle, and our team showed once again that they can be excellent runners, but also how to enjoy friendly competition with representatives of companies from all over Serbia.
Niš Business Run is the largest city business-sports event in the region, gathering over 1,500 runners from 110 companies, associations, public enterprises, schools, and universities.
The fastest among the men in the Heliant team was Nikola Joksimović, who ran the 5 km in 21 minutes and 50 seconds, while Barbara Krstić dominated among the women, finishing in 31 minutes and 36 seconds.
The atmosphere was fantastic, despite the serious task ahead – conquering a solid five kilometres. But it was overcome not only with determination, but with the incredible energy from the crowd.

The track had it all: serious pace and waves to the audience, and even a few selfies. Strategies varied – from those who seemed to fly through the course, to those whose motto could easily be “let others tire themselves out first.”
Some runners looked like they were warming up for an Olympic marathon, while others joked that they were only there to “run 5 km to the barbecue stall,” referring to the After Work & Run party that followed the race.
In the end, all Heliant Runners crossed the finish line – some faster, some slower – but all with the smile of a winner.
