The traditional September meeting of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) was held on September 4 at Beli Dvor in Belgrade, with the attendance of around 1,000 members and partners. The theme of this year’s gathering was equality and economic empowerment of women, marked by elegant purple details throughout the event.
The ceremonial opening was led by H.R.H. Crown Prince Alexander Karađorđević, followed by a welcome cocktail. The attendees were also greeted by NALED’s Board Chairman Vladislav Cvetković and the Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia, H.E. Andreas von Beckerath. The program was hosted by experienced presenters Milica Gacin and Vladimir Jelić.

Guests enjoyed the event “Flavours of Serbia,” featuring wine and specialty tastings from various regions of the country. The Balkan Express band provided the entertainment and lively atmosphere. Special attention was given to the award ceremony recognizing NALED’s “Top Members” for 2025, led by the organization’s Executive Director Violeta Jovanović.

The evening was enriched by the special program “Women of the Future”, in which leaders from the international community and members of administrative and program bodies of NALED participated, giving their personal contribution and example in creating positive changes for women and society.
The Company “Heliant”, led by Vukašin Radulović, Chairman of NALED’s Health Alliance, was a premium partner of this year’s meeting.
As a unique organization uniting local governments, companies, and the civil sector, NALED continues its mission to improve the business environment and strengthen dialogue between the state and the economy, reaffirming the role of the September meeting as one of Serbia’s most significant annual business and social events.
