In June, a new version of our information system – Heliant 8.2 have been successfully put into operation, which has been implemented in 23 healthcare facilities throughout Serbia to date. It is planned that the update process will continue and be completed during the summer, which will give all healthcare facilities that use Heliant access to the improved functionalities.

 

The new version 8.2, in addition to numerous optimizations and faster loading of individual pages, also brings a number of updates that make it easier for users to work – both in everyday clinical entries and in administrative processes:

  • In the current entries, two useful buttons have been introduced: one for quickly opening the eRecord at the selected doctor, and the other for transcribing content from the recorded clinical pathways into text fields.
  • IZIS (Integrated Healthcare Information System) schedules are enriched with a display of the total number of occupied and free appointments per doctor, facilitating work planning.
  • Hospitalization of patients is improved by automatically updating the number of hospital days when changing the date of admission or discharge.
  • New security controls have been introduced to delete diagnoses that are a condition for entering expenditures, as well as prohibiting changes if the invoice is locked.
  • On the list of scheduled patients, it is now possible to change the participation, which further facilitates the work of outpatient clinics.
  • The Abort Patient Search feature allows users to end a request that takes longer than expected.
  • When referring new-borns, the automatic transcription of the parents’ health record is abolished if it is confirmed that a new-born has its own booklet.
  • Visually and functionally, 25 foreign systems have been modernized, mainly within the administration, with the aim of improving transparency and user experience.
  • In addition to the above, the version contains numerous minor corrections and refinements, which are the result of continuous development and listening to the needs of users.
