As part of the international exchange program organized by HOPE – European Hospital and Healthcare Federation, on Friday, May 23, we had the opportunity to host Ms. Adriana Jabczynska, an employee of the University Clinical Hospital in Opole and Đorđe Nikodinović, a representative of CHIS and the national coordinator of the HOPE program.

As an associate member of the European Federation of Hospitals and Health Care, the Chamber of Health Institutions of Serbia participates in the HOPE exchange program, which brings together healthcare professionals from all over Europe with the aim of exchanging knowledge and examples of good practice in the management of healthcare systems.

During her visit to Serbia from 19 to 23 May, Ms. Jabczynska had the opportunity to familiarize with the work of some of the largest public and private healthcare systems: the University Clinical Centre of Serbia, Zemun Clinical Hospital Centre, Oncology Institute of Vojvodina, Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina and Medigroup. The tour of these medical facilities enabled the guest to get acquainted with the application of our software solutions in practice, as well as the importance and role of Heliant in the digitalization of the healthcare system in Serbia.

On the last day of the visit, we had the pleasure to host a participant of the HOPE exchange program, Ms. Adriana Jabczynska, and the program coordinator Đorđe Nikodinović in the premises of Heliant. On this occasion, we presented our development solutions, team and projects, and explained in more detail to our guest our previous work and further vision of the digital transformation of healthcare.

Special emphasis was made on examples of good practice in improving the quality of healthcare through digital tools, as well as on Heliant’s cooperation with public and private health facilities in Serbia.

The presentation and discussion with Ms. Jabczynska also covered the main goals of this year’s HOPE exchange – improving the quality of healthcare through cooperation, strengthening patients’ health literacy, safety of healthcare professionals, as well as involving patients and other stakeholders in the creation of health policies and practices.

We believe that this experience will significantly contribute to opening up of new opportunities for joint projects in the future, as well as to the further development of digitalization in healthcare, both in our region and in Poland.
