The traditional expert meeting “Counselling” organized by the Chamber of Healthcare Facilities of Serbia (KZUS) is being held at the “Mona” hotel in Zlatibor from June 6 to 9 2023. The program entitled “Healthcare reform – ongoing challenges” includes top trending topics in the field of healthcare and gathers exceptional lecturers – healthcare experts, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the National Health Insurance Fund, the State Audit Institution, guest lecturers from the region and other speakers.

 

The opening speech was delivered by MD/PhD Georgios Konstantinidis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, and Snežana Rašić Đorđević, Director of the Chamber. As part of today’s session “Digitization in the healthcare system in Serbia”, Isidora Šmigić, coordinator for regulatory reform and Vukašin Radulović, president of the Healthcare Alliance within NALED, spoke on the topic “Physicians and citizens’ views on digitization and the NALED initiative in relation to digitization”.

Svetlana Marinković from the Clinical Centre of Serbia, Radmila Aksentijević from the CHC “Dragiša Mišović” and Adriana Petrović from Pirot General Hospital delivered presentations on the experiences of healthcare facilities related to the FINANCE PORTAL.

On Thursday, June 8 a panel on the topic of healthcare personnel in the region issues (standards, specializations, salaries, motivation) is taking place, in which representatives from Croatia, Slovenia, Republic of Srpska and NALED are participating.

Examples of good practice will be presented by Assistant Professor MD/PhD Aleksandar Stefoski, State Secretary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, and MD Jasmina Stanković, director of the Primary Healthcare Centre Šabac.

In addition to many healthcare facilities’ managers, the participants also include those who deal with legal and financial issues in healthcare, thus a wide range of issues important for the functioning of the healthcare system is covered at the gathering.
