Vesna Lenov, Head of the Department for Economic and Financial Affairs of the Health Centre Zvezdara, talks about introducing Heliant’s accounting information system to this healthcare institution.
Compatibility
“Heliant Health” as a healthcare system, was implemented in theHealth Center Zvezdara in 2009, while the accounting software Heliant Moneo was implemented in 2015”, says Vesna Lenov.
“We thought that all information systems should be compatible, so we decided to connect the healthcare system with economic one, i.e., with the accounting system consisting of the treasury, the central warehouse and the pharmacy warehouse.
With Moneo, we expanded the field of work, as we did not have the pharmacy warehouse integrated into the information system before”.
Upgrading operation
“It was a new, more advanced software and it resulted in improvements in our operations. The only remark we had was that there are many steps to achieve some results. We have made some investigations and we know that other recent software functions in the similar way. These steps are probably necessary to integrate everything within the system. Recent software is more demanding, as we now have the opportunity to make reports”.
Efficiency
“Heliant team constantly updates and make changes to the software to make more user friendly. At the same time, each software has its strengths and weaknesses, there is no ideal one. Accounting regulations are often amended in our country and software thus need to be adapted and implemented”.
New Versions
“We resolve the issues that arise. Whenever we contact Heliant team members, they solve it. They also have new versions of the software, which they implement, test and then let us know that a new version has been released”.
Security
“The software is safe, staff members are familiar with the procedures, they know how to start it, log in, it is set up by hierarchy, so it is known who can use it”, says Vesna Lenov from the PHC Zvezdara.
