We took part in FUTURE Day, an event organized by All Digital, which brought together experts in technology, artificial intelligence, digital skills, and regional development.
As part of the program, our representative Filip Maljković, Head of Heliant’s Development Team, participated as a panellist in the discussion “Human-Centric AI for Regional Development,” focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in human-centred development and opportunities for regional cooperation in Southeast Europe, the Balkans, and the Western Balkans.
The panel addressed topics including the application of AI in line with European frameworks and standards, the ethical and security aspects of artificial intelligence development, as well as the importance of digital skills and inclusion in the process of technological development.
Drawing on his experience in the development and integration of information systems in healthcare, Filip contributed to the discussion on how technology and artificial intelligence could support the development of modern systems while ensuring a responsible approach to their implementation.
The panel was moderated by PhD Tamara Papić, a technology innovator and expert in the trustworthy application of AI in healthcare. The other panellist was Janez Kolar, an expert in governance and digital skills frameworks aligned with EU and ETF standards.
