The BIZIT conference, under the slogan “Solutions, Not Excuses,” was held at the Metropol Hotel on November 4th and 5th. It was one of the most important annual gatherings of the business and IT community in the region. Through a series of lectures and panels, the focus was on applied technological solutions that delivered measurable results for the private and public sectors.
During the two-day program, a variety of topics were covered, from infrastructure and cybersecurity to automation, digital transformation, and the practical application of artificial intelligence. The program and agenda highlighted practical case studies and panel discussions that linked business challenges with technological solutions.
One of the panels on the first day was “E-Health: The Digital Pulse of Healthcare”, where experts shared experiences on electronic medical records, interoperability, telemedicine, and patient data protection. Panel participants included Vukašin Radulović, Director of Heliant, Bojan Kisić, Board Advisor at NITES Group, and Dušan Ćirić, Data Centre Solutions Architect at Schneider Electric, while the discussion was moderated by Uroš Bogdanović, consultant and radio host at KrAn Studio.
The panellists discussed key components of healthcare digitalization: the implementation of electronic medical records, interoperability of IT systems in healthcare institutions, telemedicine, and the protection and security of medical and personal patient data.
