Heliant became a member of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED)yesterday.
This largest public-private association in Serbia brings together more than 300 socially responsible companies, local governments and civil society organizations.
Since its establishment in 2006, NALED has positioned itself as an association committed to improving the business environment through dialogue, building the municipalities’ capacities for economic development, open professional debate, as well as harmonizing the views of representatives of state and local institutions, economy and civil society.
Members of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development are committed to efficient and transparent public administration, fair competition, reduction of bureaucracy and para-fiscal burden on the economy.
Therefore this association has become an important party in communicating with the government and the National Assembly when it comes to defining legal solutions important for the economy, and one of the leading authorities in monitoring regulatory activity and measuring the performance of public administration.
NALED participates in the working groups of the Government of Serbia that draft regulations, while in the Assembly it provides expert support in the preparation of amendments to improve the regulatory framework for business.
In addition, it monitors the implementation of economic reforms, progress in the process of accession to the European Union and Serbia’s position on the World Bank’s Doing Business list.
