More than 300 patients most severely affected by the infection caused by coronavirus are currently treated at the Clinical Hospital Centre “Bežanijska kosa”. This healthcare facility was converted into a covid hospital at the end of June, when a new wave of the epidemic broke out in Serbia.

The photo reporter Oliver Bulić recorded the moment when physicians under full protective equipment provide help in the ward where patients on respirators with the most critical clinical condition are treated, in the so-called “red zone” of this hospital.

These are patients with confirmed pneumonia, with a large drop in saturation and who need oxygen treatment.

The photo shows a laptop computer on the desk with open Heliant Health application, the health operating system that helps physicians enter all the information about patients and the course of their treatment in the fastest and most efficient way.

This system helps both physicians and medical staff of the Clinical Hospital Centre “Bežanijska kosa” even in these extreme conditions, during the biggest challenges they are facing now.
